I am a SAFT Owner. How do I transfer my SAFT to another person or company?
Transfer of SAFT ownership is restricted under the terms of the SAFT and requires approval from Hedera. Please contact us at saft@hedera.com with details about the proposed transfer to request approval. Note that we generally do not approve transfers for value, i.e., SAFT sales.
I am a SAFT Owner. What is an Account Manager and how do I designate or change mine?
The Account Manager is the individual authorized to manage your Account ID receiving hbar distributions pursuant to the terms of your SAFT. This individual will hold the private key(s) for the Account ID and will be able to transfer your hbar coins. For individual SAFT owners, this can be yourself.
You may designate or change your Account Manager by completing the following steps:
- Complete the SAFT Change Form and submit it via your authorized email to saft@hedera.com.
- The Hedera SAFT Team will email you a Netki Access Code.
- Download the MyVerify App, enter the Netki Access Code, and complete your identity verification.
- Notify the Hedera SAFT Team at saft@hedera.com when your identity verification is complete.
- The Hedera SAFT Team will reply with confirmation that your Account Manager has been designated or changed.

You hereby release Hedera from any and all claims or liability arising out of Hedera’s transfer(s) of hbars to the Account Manager whether arising at the time of transfer and/or at any time thereafter. Hedera has no control nor responsibility for the hbars once the transfer is initiated. Hedera reserves the right to request any information necessary from the Account Manager or the SAFT purchaser to facilitate our KYC process, for tax reporting purposes, or for any other reason to comply with applicable law or contractual obligations. The SAFT purchaser is fully responsible for ensuring the Account Manager complies with the Hedera Terms of Service and has any necessary licenses in any applicable jurisdiction to receive and/or manage the hbars on their behalf.
I am a SAFT Owner or an Account Manager. How do I change my Account ID for SAFT distributions?
You may designate or change your Account ID receiving hbar distributions pursuant to the terms of your SAFT by completing the following steps:

- Download the MyVerify App, enter the Netki Access Code, and complete your identity verification.

I am a SAFT Owner or an Account Manager and have not yet claimed my HBAR distribution(s). How do I set up an Account ID and notify Hedera, to retrieve my SAFT distribution?
You may create a Hedera mainnet Account ID for receiving hbar distributions pursuant to the terms of your SAFT, by completing the following steps:
- Create an account on the Hedera mainnet by following the account creation processes for any HBAR-supported wallets, found here: https://help.hedera.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000099958
- Once you have created your Account ID (X.X.XXXXX) Complete the SAFT Change Request Form (PDF) and submit it via the email address used in your SAFT to saft@hedera.com.
- The Hedera SAFT Team will email you a Netki Access Code.
- Download the MyVerify App (download links below), enter the Netki Access Code, and complete your identity verification.
- Notify the Hedera SAFT Team at saft@hedera.com when your identity verification is complete.
- The Hedera SAFT Team will reply with confirmation that your Account ID for SAFT distributions has been designated or changed and an estimate on when you can expect to receive your distribution.
